  1. try this site:

  2. a necklace engraved

    bracelet engraved

    a tatoo

a journal of your thoughts up to the very minute you are ready to walk down the isle of how much this day means to you

and how he is the man of your dreams and always will be

I love the journal idea I have given that idea away for alot of tender memories to many people...from a birth to loosing a loved one and weddings, between siblings....

all the best on your special day!!!!!!Congrats!!!

  3. I understand what you are wanting to do.  This may sound goofy but I went out and found my husband the special edition Nascar magazine that was sold out.  I looked for days for it. He was surprised by my effort with so much going on getting ready for the wedding.   For years I would get that for him.  It was special between us when I gave it to him every year because he would remember that I stopped and did something just for him.

It is so sad the husband is always left out on gifts and not the center of attention on the wedding day.  I think it is very nice that you want him to feel special.  I love the idea of a engraved watch.  However if it not something he wears now he may not use it.  I also gave my husband a penny with a heart punched out of it.  It came with a card  and it had a poem.  He keeps the penny on his key chain. I found one on ebay.

"The Art of Marriage.... A good marriage must be created. In the art of marriage the little things are the big things. It is never being too old to hold hands. It is remembering to say "I love you," at least once a day. It is never going to sleep angry. It is having a mutual sense of values and common objectives. It is standing together facing the world. It is forming a circle of love that gathers in the whole family. It is speaking words of appreciation and demonstrating gratitude in thoughtful ways. It is having the capacity to forgive and forget. It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each of you can grow. It is finding room for the things of the spirit. It is a common search for the good and the beautiful. It is not only marrying the right partner."

  4. a watch so when ever he looks at it he'll remember you...

  5. a gun

  6. my fiancee and i kicked around the question: do we give each other wedding gifts or not?

everyone has different opinions, but we finally decided that we would...  he is going to buy me a bottle of perfume that he likes and i am going to buy him a bottle of cologne that i like.  i think it is a cute idea, and we aren't going to know what each other bought until the day of the wedding when we send each other the gifts (his best man is coming over to my house while i am getting ready to drop off my fiancee's gift to me, and then take my gift to my fiancee back to him).  it is inexpensive and special, because we decided to buy each other something that neither of us already has, so from our wedding day on, everytime one of us wears what we got, it will remind us of our wedding day! and each other!

  7. Give him a watch with a quote engraved behind the clock.

  8. haha i kow what you mean. its not about turning your wedding day into something materialistic. its about having something special he can keep forever. i totally get it. im not quite sure when youre wedding is but for my fiance, im making him a scrapbook of our entire relationship. pictures and movie ticket stubs, napkins from restuarants and then lastly, our engagement pictures and a long letter expressing all my feelings for him and how i hope things will work for us. i have a little more time to do this becuase im just starting to plan my wedding. you can go online and find some ideas. one fun thing that i would love to get is a vinly lettering sign for my new townhouse. this website and many more will custom make a quote so if yo two have a "song" or a favorite saying or quote then you can get that.  : ] good luck and congrats!!

  9. I agree with the first answer!!!!

    - Make love to him, with so much emotion like you NEVER have before... look into his eyes.  That should mean more than anything materialistic

  10. you should make him something. like a diary that is a 30 day count down be for the wedding. write him a letter everyday telling him why you love him, why you chose him. put some pictures of some of your favorite memories you guys have. save any movie stubs that you guys go to. it will show him why you picked him.

  11. I think you should give your husband something memorable from the heart. Custom handmade figurine is a unique gift for everyone!

I would highly recommend you visit http://aweddinggiftidea.com

Their professional artists will make a wonderful figurine of them. I sent them my favorite pictures of my boyfriend and they made incredible "mini-me". That was awesome! My boyfriend was very, very touched and pleased when I gave it to him as anniversary gift.

  12. That ring you will be putting on his finger for one thing.

  13. I'd go with "watch" also, but that's because my fiance needs a pocket watch to go with his waistcoat, and isn't likely to buy it for himself. Making something is likely a good idea.

  14. Why would you give your husband a gift on your wedding day? You are giving him the most important thing: your hand in marriage. Don't turn this day into something materialistic!

  15. Now, I would like something like new running shoes, or a nice sports bag.  I would also like a kitchen table, one that is retro/vintage style.  Another thing I would like is one of those little music players that you play music in your ear - i think they call them mp3's.  I hope those are some ideas for you.
