  1. Gift certicicates are always great, either to teacher stores, book stores, even to a store with body lotions!

If you are crafty, you could always do something personalized.  I once had a parent buy a canvas bag, used fabric paint and put each of my student's handprints on it and then they wrote their name.  It was cute for me to bring my things back and forth to school with.

Another gift I loved was a mom who had her daughter paint a planter.  She then filled it with dirt and put some bright flowers in there!  It was personal and pretty!  I kept the plant in the classroom and the kids took turns watering it etc.  I brouhgt it home at the end of the year and my friends all think its so cute!!

Honestly, another one of my FAVORITE gifts have been cards or short letters written to me by parents thanking me and highlighting specific things/activities I have done or ways I have helped their child.  It's free, but we really do appreciate being thanked fro what we do!

  2. what a great teacher loves is a nice gift card from a fancy restaraunt like olive garden. Or a girft card for like barnes and nobles seems also very appropriate

  3. A gift card!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  4. A gift certificate considering that she spends her own money to provide for things.  Some kind of office supply store or a teacher supply store.

  5. Your child's teacher will not be expecting anything.  If you still feel that you would like to get her a gift...consider having your son create a card or homemade gift.  Gift cards are also a great gift for teachers since we tend to spend quite a bit out of our own pocket.  That's very kind of you to think of the teacher on her birthday.

  6. you really dont have to do anything! But if you really want you can ask parents to chip in for a partyy and make kids make cards for her OR you can get a gift crtifivate

  7. For young teachers, it is always hard to know what is their taste. The ideal is to choose an accessory like a necklace, purse or  wallet from a reputable place that allows for exchanging. Othewise, chocolate is everyone's favourate.

  8. calvin and hobbes. anyone who deals with kids will love the books!

  9. Get her chocolates or perfume or something like that. Young teachers are mostly addicted to chocolate. I got my childs teacher chocolate and flowers, and she really loved them

  10. I think you should not give her anything. You could just visit her on her birthday saw something nice to her. Anyway, I think the teacher will not accept your gift as she is a TEACHER. She has to set a role of not receiving others gift easily for her students. If you really  want to give her something, get your child to make a card or help her organise her birthday party.

I think that this solution is the best!

  11. Your husband. Thats what the young ones like.

  12. I actually like to receive handmade gifts by the child, but I have a lot of parents who don't want to just settle on that, so they get me gift certificates to Teacher stores, which I also enjoy, since I spend a good amount of my own money on supplies for the classroom.

If they like to shop online, try these:
