What can I give as gifts for my Italian friend and his family?

I am visiting them in Naples and want to bring them American gifts. He and his wife are 35-40 years old with two daughters, 7 and 13 years old.

well most italian's love to cook,so go from there.my boss is italian and that guy can cook.how about an mp3 player for the kids.shop like you would at x-mas time.
