She is 4 weeks and this morning she is gassy and it looks like she is straining to go p**p..She is breast fed and supplemented on formula..But I've given her only 2 oz of formula yesterday..She shouldn't be having a problem pooping right now. Is there anything she can drink to help or do I just need to let it be?

  1. Mylicon gas drops.

A warm heating pad applied to the stomach.

    Lots of cuddles.

  2. you must not seek such advices when it relates to your baby's health. must always consult a professional on such sensitive issues.

i can help you where to find whatever you've been prescribed by the consultant on special discounts

its a universe of baby products @ baby prices

  3. Call your pediatrician if she is crying over it.  If not, she's ok and just needs some gas drops.

  4. Mylicon Gas Drops is what our pediatrician recommended... It was even given to my daughter in the NICU... She sometimes looks as though she's straining to p**p, when in fact she just has a lot of gas build up.

She doesn't mind the taste of the Mylicon, it's simple to give, they have a dye free version, and it honestly helps!

  5. You can ask your pharmacist, that's the easiest. I used baby suppositories for my baby with severe problems of constipation.
