What can I make a fashion out of?

For my senior project I'm putting on a charity fashion show. What can I make a raised runway out of?

You can probably ask the Art Department, the Drama Department or your Wood Shop to make the runway for you.  Just tell them how long, how wide and how high.  Remember people will be walking down it so it needs to be sturdy and safe.  If you can't get help from the school departments and you don't have a lot of money then you could use fabric or colored paper to use as a walkway.
