What can I make aquarium decorations with?

I would like to make my own freshwater aquarium decorations, specifically, The Alamo. What can I use to make it that would be safe for my future fish?

You could paint rocks with non-toxic paint and place the rocks in the aquarium...

You could bunch up a bunch of grass and tie it all together to look like a bale of hay  (for your cowboy fish) lol

You can use rocks of quartz or granite and hold them together with aquarium sealant .This works using any other kind of stone might cause you problems . Make sure you let the sealant cure for the right amount of time and then let the whole thing just sit in clean water for a few days before putting it in your tank .
