I have an 07 female possible het for piebald. I want to breed her in 2010 and Im not sure what I should breed her with besides a pure piebald. I was thinking either a spider or a pastel but I dont know what that would produce if she is a het for pied. Its my fist time attempting to breed so I want something that will produce in the fist clutch as well as be nice to raise.

  1. bred to a pure piebald or another piebald het will give you piebalds. if you were to breed it to a spider or a pastel, you would get spiders or pastels het for piebald (if she really is het). i say get a male het piebald and breed them. if you get little piebalds, she is indeed het.

  2. Pure pied because she's already het and they're more docile than the pastels in my experience. Good luck.

  3. Why not just buy a 100% het for piebald male? You can find one for around $100. And this will tell you if your female actually is a het or not.
