What can I name a horse?

she is a bay arabian and her name is miss pearl currently but I don't like it. i need a show name.

my sister and i traded horses and she had named it rumor and i dint like it and chanded it to remmy

Spend some time with her, get to know her, and see what kind of a "nickname" feels good!

A horse will feel more connected to what we call them when we feel good about it! If you choose a name because it's a good word, but there is no heart-connection in it, then there will always be that distance between you.

Give yourself some time! Play with her. Be a little kid with her, and see what names just absent-mindedly roll off your tongue when you first go to the barn to see her.

Even if the word doesn't make sense, even if it's not a name you'd find in a book, or it's not something that will impress the international judges...if it feels good to you when you say it, she'll appreciate every time you say it!

if you want a show name some show names are long(three words) some are short(a few letters) i like bay's disco pearl for a long name, or juno for a short name. good luck

I currently have a gelding and have wished i could use this name on him. its different and cute for a mare.

If you like Rumor Has It, how about the  barn name  Rumor? I think it's cute and unique as well. But if you don't like that barn name how about Remmy or Roo, or something random like; Baby, Suz, Bonnie.

But you could also consider these names name:

Carminere "Carmin'
