haha i name all my guitars, but only refer to a few of them as such.  i tend to name my guitars after people that are importnat to me, and weirdly enough that tend to exhibit similar traits.  ill give you some examples

i have a fender jaguar named beckie, a girl i had a crush on at the time that i got it

i have a gibson flying v bass named sarah, a girl i knew that was just a great person and loved music, she was a great performer, fitting for a bass that "really rocks"

fender strat named ryann, because both were so attractive

acoustic guitar named blake, because it had been with me the longest just like my best friend
