What can I not take traveling by airplane?

theres so many things u can and can't bring!

I haven't been traveling in a while so I'm alil un updated.

I heard u can't bring TOOTHPASTE! thats about it...and in my opinoin thats wierd.lol

can u bring a hair straightener?

or how about a battery charger? (like for ur cell phone,ipod, stuff like that.)

what you are allowed to bring in your checked baggage and what you are allowed to bring in your carry on baggage is going to be a bit different.

you can usually find some good information on the specifics by checking out the homepage of the airline you are flying on. most large carriers will have a list of prohibited items there.

you can also look at the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/index.shtm

they usually have the most updated information.

You can bring all of those things as long as they are in your checked baggage.  It's much easier just to pack anything liquid in the checked baggage, then you don't have to worry about it being less than 3 oz, etc.

Cell phone and ipod are ok to bring on the plane in your carry-on bag, they just ask you to turn them off during take-off and landing.
