What can I pair with an apple?

I'm trying to lose weight by eating a vegan diet, i have apples but i don't want to eat it by itself. what can i add to the apples that is not a meat, dairy, or egg product. thanks.

  1. peanut butter... melt it and dip apple slices in it


  2. Vanilla soy yogurt with cinnamon in it and peanut butter granola. Mix it all in a bowl and enjoy!

  3. i agree with the others.....peanut butter would be my number one pick.

    why not try sprinkling cinnamon on it?  that would add a bit of kick and tone down the sweetness.

  4. I love a bowl of sliced apple, celery, cucumber, raisins, cubed vegan cheese and nuts! Sometimes I put a spoonful of vegan mayonnaise on the top! :)

  6. I had to lose weight for a Judo competition a while ago. I lived off fruit salad. lol its so easy to make.

    Ingredients                                                         Serves 1

    1 Apple

    1 Banana

    1 Orange

    Other fruits of choice (eg. strawberries, grapes, melon)

    Lemon Juice

    Honey

    Yoghurt (optional)

    Method

    Cut all fruit into bite size pieces and mix in a container or bowl.

    Cover lightly in lemon juice to prevent oxydisation (mainly so apple doesnt go brown) and for flavour.

    Add a drizzle of honey over the mixed fruit and same for your yoghurt of choice.

    Mix again and enjoy.

    (you can also leave it in the fridge to chill before serving)

  10. I love oats with soy milk a few slices of apple a pinch of brown sugar and a little cinnamon. It's great for breakfast or a healthy and yummy snack.

  11. I like the guy's answer above me.  Try eating half a bowl of cereal with about 1/8 cup of walnuts and cut up apple pieces.

    Use rice or almond milk.   Cereals I suggest:

    I personally eat blueberries in a half bowl of cereal around five o'clock p.m. with a handful of almonds and that  keeps me full for the rest of the day until I go to bed at about 10:00.. That keeps me from gaining unnecessary weight.
