What can I put in a 1.5 gallon tank with a very small internal filter and a small heater?

  1. go to petsmart or walmart get a figure 8 puffer or any fish that will stay small prefered one that doesnt mind solitarity like a small cichlid breed.


  2. The rule of thumb is one gallon of water per INCH of fish.  Do the math.  Personally, I like llriffell's answer about the picture better!  lol

  3. you could get away with a betta in the that small of a tank but personnley speaking I feel tanks that small are only good for holding pictures of fish at least they wont die from the poor conditions

  4. It's perfect for a colorful Beta. Or a couple of tetras.

  5. Guppies are probably the best thing to put in!
