What can I put in a carry-on bag?

When I go on my trip. What is ok to put in a carry on bag?

you can bring stuff on the plane in your carry on or since your a girl in your purse.  You need to put them in plastic bags (one item per bag) in case the TSA needs to check it.  Not all bags get checked, but liquid, personal items need to be less than 3 oz size such as shampoo, toothpaste, ect.

most of the things that you are considering in carry on you can just ship under the plane in your regular bags.  Its much easier this way.  You can always contact the airline or go to TSA's website for more instructions at:  http://www.tsa.gov  

I used both the airlines and the tsa site when I go home for visits in case theres changes.

Hope you have a good vacation - and also you can take a laptop along, but they'll make you open it up, check it out, ect when you go thru the line lol....  same goes with digital cameras which is fine to take onboard.  Also, meds if you take any, put them in a plastic bag and take them with you, never a good idea to ship them under the plane in checked bags because sometiem checked items dont make it the same time u do haha

you can put small things in a carry on bag make sure shampoo containers are 3 oz or less I hope you have a nice vacation

you can carry on small containers of shampoo toothpaste hair brush toothbrush and deodorant and clothes just make sure your carry on bag is easy to open they may look in it I hope you have a good trip and be safe

Anything that isn't banned (weapons, etc) from being onboard and isn't too heavy.

I usually take some clothes (in case checked luggage is delayed), personal items and books with me in my carry on.
