  1. This is from a book called "How to be comfy" by Shannon Lush & Jennifer Fleming.

They recommend hiring a steam cleaner from the supermarket, Use half as much chemical as suggested, add 2 teaspoons eucalyptus oil, 3 tablespoons white vineagar, 2 tablespoons bicarb of soda & 2 tablespoons methlylated spirits. The eucalytus oil is a disinfectant and gives off a 'clean odour'. Good luck

  2. baking soda ( arm and hammer)

  3. scrub it with vinegar

then powder some baking soda on it and scrub it in and wash it

    or

    scrub it with vinegar

    rinse with water

mixe water and vinegar and scrub

    and wash

    the vinegar will clean/disinfect it

and the baking soda will get the vinegar smell out of it

and washing it will of course get the vinegar and baking soda out of it

  4. Well most disinfectants will stain, so I would use...yuck...vinegar. Vinegar will disinfect, but then you'll have to get the vinegar smell out. Maybe you can use it in small concentrations?

  5. just dilute vinegar ..the smell will dissipate as it dries.

I don't recommend oils as suggested as it will leave a film in the steam cleaner.
