  1. Cracked black pepper and sea salt?

    Garlic butter and herbs?

    Sweet chilli sauce?

    Dill and lemon juice?

  2. marinade the salmon in balsamic dressing or coat with a balsamic glaze then bake in the oven its lovely served with plain boiled rice and a bit of salad

  3. lemon and a bit of butter always tastes nice

  4. quater of a half pint glass of White wine, butter, garlic (optional) & mixed herbs or herbes De provence which you get in those little jars.

    Tres Biens - My favourite.

  5. If you want the easy way out, try teryaki sauce. You just pour it over and grill or bake. It is great!

  6. Baked Dijon Salmon

    1/4 cup butter, melted

    3 tablespoons Dijon mustard

    1 1/2 tablespoons honey

    1/4 cup dry bread crumbs

    1/4 cup finely chopped pecans

    4 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley

    4 (4 ounce) fillets salmon

    salt and pepper to taste

    1 lemon, for garnish

    DIRECTIONS

    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

    2. In a small bowl, stir together butter, mustard, and honey. Set aside. In another bowl, mix together bread crumbs, pecans, and parsley.

    3. Brush each salmon fillet lightly with honey mustard mixture, and sprinkle the tops of the fillets with the bread crumb mixture.

    4. Bake salmon 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until it flakes easily with a fork. Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with a wedge of lemon.

  7. Put in a slice of lemon, some fresh dill and parsley and grated black pepper.  Put a k**b of butter on the foil then place the salmon on top and then place the herbs, lemon and seasoning on top.  Bake in preheated oven for about 15 to 20 mins and that's it - lovely !

  8. wrap in foil with dill and lemon always tastes good! season with salt and pepper also!x

  9. I am unsure where you're from, but some pre-made herb mixes are pretty good. Try something you think you'd like, like a cajun spice mix, and just sprinkle it on the salmon with a little olive oil before putting it in the oven.

Or else something as simple as a little oil and lemon juice.

Otherwise, cook the salmon plain and serve it with something like garlic salt after it's cooked - salmon has a beautiful natural flavour to begin with, don't over do it.

  10. Don't put the salmon in Foil and cook. Never cook anything in foil. Foil is not healthy to cook then eat off of it. Take the salmon fillet and put it in  the oven on broil. 10 minutes on each side of less depending on how thick it is. You can use a toaster oven as well. I would then get some veggies and steam them. Enjoy

  11. Minced onion, leeks, garlic and olive oil. Maybe freshly squeezed lemon juice?

Personally, I leave my salmon alone - it's so good on it's own!

  12. Put a bundle of herbs (dill is good with fish) in the foil and put some slices of lemon on top. Then the salmon on top of that. Season with salt and pepper and squeeze a little more lemon juice over then wrap it up.

As the fish cooks the herbs will kind of steam through the fish and flavour it.

  13. My sister made some with a mixture of Dijon mustard, dried dill, and a little white wine mixed together and spread on it. Also, you can go simple with lemon slices and pepper.......

  14. Dill, lemon juice and pepper.

    Lush.

  15. Now this recipe didn't sound good to me but I tried it anyway and now it is one of my family's favorites. And yes, you must put it in foil. Try it and guarantee you will like. The salmon has THE best flavor.

Another recipe I use is salmon grilled on cedar planks:

Soak the cedar plank for a couple of hours in water

When the grill is properly stoked you put the salmon rubbed with dill, butter, lemon and pepper. Cover the top of the salmon with foil. Make sure you have a bottle of water to spritz so as to keep down the flames. We just had this recipe the other night served white and wild rice. Deelicious.

Here are some instructions for using the planks:

  16. Lemon, dill, garlic and EVOO, salt and pepper.  When's dinner?

  17. season with salt pepper and garlic powder. 2 pats butter and lemon juice and some zest (alot of flavor) sprinkle breadcrumbs if you want and add slices zucchini and tomatoes then seal pouch and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes
