Just got a 3 month old kitten yesterday.she's real energetic and playful and wont let me sleep at night.I put her in her cardboard box last night and she was ok.

I tried to do it tonight and she keeps finding ways to get out.Its a small cardboard box(with holes)that the pet shop gave her 2 me in.I even tried putting a couple books on the box and she still found a way to get out.

Is it ok to put her in the box at night? If she meows while she in the box, should I let her out the box?

She's laying right next 2 me now and its 1am in the morning over her.

Is there anything I can buy to put her in at night

  1. You should just shut her out of your bedroom. If you must get a medium sized cage for her. Make sure she has fresh water and a clean litter box in the cage.

  2. You should giver her a room at night like bathroom or laundry n have her own little bed a litter box and some food n water. Close the door n leave her to it she should be fine and you will sleep sooo much better :P

  3. you can buy her a crate, like a carrier for the vet that has a door.  Or, you can just shut your bedroom door, with her on the outside.

You might need to work on getting her days and nights flipped around.  :)

    good luck

  4. You can either give her a small room to sleep in, such as a laundry room or bathroom (just make sure she has a comfortable bed and that the room isn't cold or drafty), or you can buy a cat carrier to put her in.

Giving her a room to herself would probably be a better choice - she has more room, and if she needs to relieve herself at night, she'll have a litter box to go in.
