What can I put on bottoms of wrought iron chairs to help them glide over concrete patio?

  1. Tennis Balls! Make a small slit, or cut an "X" depending on the size of  the chair leg, in any tennis ball ( new or used) and pop it onto the feet of the chairs in question. Works on bar stools, dining room chairs, and best of all the chairs children use in class. It keeps down on the damage to hardwood floors, linoleum floors, deck boards, and even concrete or patio pavers. It also makes things a lot quieter in class and around the home! Hope this helps


  2. Use up your old nail polish,(especially if you've got clear stuff) works a treat....... Though just like nails will need  re-done now and again.
