I'm having a serious no bake craving, but unfortunately, I don't have wax paper. Anything I can substitute with?

  1. You may be able to use lightly greased parchment paper instead.

  2. parchment paper, Silpat, foil.

  3. parchment paper .... or spray some tin foil with Pam

  4. well...

What I've done in the past is used aluminum foil and very lightly buttered it.  The recipe I use seems to do ok with that.  Or you can scrub down your kitchen counter and spritz it with some Pam or something like that.  It won't take much to keep them from sticking.

Great, now I want some no-bakes, too.   Thanks a LOT :(  Now I have to go to the store LOL

  5. Spray pretty much anything with cooking spray.

Parchment paper, foil, cookie sheet, a platter, etc.

  6. If you want to bake, and do not have wax paper, you can just do the same without the paper.

Just apply some butter or baking spray directly on the baking surface..

I fins a non stick tray works well without spraying directly on the baking surface.

I was told to put extra butter  (1/5 to 1/4 extra) in the batter so food can easily come off.IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE TO ME.
