Question:

What can I see in La Ronge, Saskatchewan near Prince Albert?

I'm curious about driving up to La Ronge from Saskatoon because it's one of the northernmost points in Canada besides Churchill, Fort McMurray, Yellowknife, Whitehorse.

What is a good thing to see up there? Even if there's not much to do there, I'll just find something unusual and fun.

Anyone familiar with La Ronge?

  1. Paris it ain't, but it's pleasant, scenic little northern town of about 4,000. Because it is an administrative centre rather than a mining town, it is a little less "rough" than some other places.

You might try the website of Tourism Saskatchewan.

  2. you can see the air traffic control radar tower

  3. Lucky you, but there are LOTS of more northern points. I've been to Uranium City.

But about La Ronge, big in the fishing - tons of lakes, camping, hiking, canoeing - LOVE the wild rice from there.
