Question:

What can I take or do to help me focus and stay awake?

I have a hard time concentrating and absorbing information, so much so it's beginning to affect my productivity at work almost dramatically, in my opinion. I have a lot of things to do on a day to day basis but at the end of the day, not much gets done because my mind is blank and most of the time im staring at the monitor. Im not dumb, in fact, im rather smart, but my inability to concentrate is increasingly overwhelming. I want to get down to the bottom of this and will only consider natural solutions like fish oil perhaps, i dont know! :( Any suggestions?

  2. are you getting enough restful sleep?

    people with active minds often don't get enough quality sleep and it affects your ability to focus and be productive throughout the day ...

    make sure you are getting enough protein, not too many refined carbs, and have an overall balanced diet and some type of activity in your life, too ...

    also, the smarter you are, the better chance that you have a natural ability that needs an outlet like organized sports, drawing, karaoke, etc. ... it all depends on your natural talents and if your job uses them ...  without this outlet your mind becomes like the husky sled dog that wants to work but is kept in a tiny apartment all of the time ...

  3. are you deppressed or severly stressed??? get anti_deppressants. If your deppresseddont take add or adhd medication. It can make you paranoid and not effectively treat the underlying problem

  4. Try making a little more time in your life for you.  Exercise is one of the best brain foods there is.  It's also good for you in many other ways including stress reduction and keeping you on a regular sleep-wake schedule.  A little relation or meditation or a hot bath goes far, too.  And, of course somewhere close to 8 hours of sleep is needed.  If you think you have too much going on in your life to do these things, well, ask yourself how effectively you are doing anything.  You gotta take care of yourself before you can do much of anything else.

  5. Eat & Keep reminding urself that you can do it no matter what!
