What can I use around the house to make a punching bag?

I'm going to get a proper one, but not for another couple of weeks. What will suffice in the meantime?

hit the wall. theres absolutely nothing wrong with hitting your wall. and its good for your hands too  ;  )

Get a large pillow case and stuff it full of sheets, and I mean packed full! This works great, and if you do it right, should be just as tough as a punching bag
