  1. All oils are high in calories. You need oils for nutritional value, so it's ok to have some in your diet. Olive oil is a good opiton as you don't need as much of it for cooking as you do other oils.

  2. fry light - comes in several varieties including an olive oil version i think

  3. canola or olive oil... dont use too much

  4. I'm pretty sure all oil is the same..  100 cals per tablespoon.

You could try using reduced-calorie margarine, or even try spraying Pam on instead because you'll use less

  5. olive oil is good fat so its ok.Also try canolla oil, very heathy,J

  6. If you check the label on any type of oil, you will discover that the calorie content on every oil is pretty much the same.  Roughly 120 calories and 14 grams of fat per tablespoon.  The differences in the oil is the makeup of the type of fat it contains.  In other words it is mostly saturated fat or is it polyunsaturated or mono-unsaturated.  The latter two are better than saturated fat.

Also, the smoking point also varies from oil to oil.  Olive oil and High Oleic safflower oil have higher smoking points than say corn oil or canola oil.  This means it can take high heat cooking better.

So when you ask for a low calorie oil, I am afraid you are not going to find it.

  7. pam cooking spray

or i cant believe its not butter spray

    (=

  8. Vegetable oil.

  9. olive oil is good for you...good fats.

But if you wanna cut back on fat, use reduced sodium soy sauce instead. I know it sounds weird, but if you add that instead of olive oil, you won't even be able to taste it. But you can only use this on chicken and such. Not pasta...lol!

    Good luck!

  10. You can use water, soy sauce, vinegar, or just spray some Pam.

  11. Hi

You can use smart balance butter (light) it is 45 calories for a tablespoon.

Also cooking sprays, for each second sprayed is about 7 calories.

You can also you olive oil just don't use as much.

But everything has calories except for water.
