  1. If the siding is vinyl you can use an outside vinyl corner post, but you must flatten it to match the 45 degree angle.

If the siding is wood horizonal or shakes they make an aluminum cap that fits each siding board and tucks up under the upper one.

  2. Cut the opposing boards at that angle so that they meet as a claen joint.

Use a set of hand breaks to open the factoy cover to the proper angle.

The mfg will also have the correct angle pre-formed for purchase.

  3. well you can use a table saw ,and cut two 45degrees. maken a 90 degree angle     or   cover  it in copper . lead or tin . or but two . 2x1 together   just a thought

  4. There is a product called EndCuts -- made by Ze-VO Products Group -- it is for seling the ends of all kinds of lumber -- it is a white latex based sealer.  It comes in a 4 oz bottle with a spong applicator.  Very easy to use... does not leak and will seal at least 250 endcuts per bottles.  They also make a product called DeckCuts wich is a clear, oil based sealer.  You can order it via their website http://www.ze-vo.com/products.html  -- check it out.  hope this is helpful.
