What can I use to get dog urine odor out of my (small) yard? Something that won't harm the dogs?

I read vinegar and baking soda can do the trick.

Are they your dogs? If so, the only thing to do is to hose off the urine as soon as they urinate. If they are someone else's dogs, make a spray from hot sauce and water. Strain the hot sauce through several layers of cheesecloth to take the solids out. Then mix what's left with one part water to 5 parts hot sauce. Put it in a spray bottle and spray the areas that they are going to. It won't hurt them, but it will make them think twice about coming into your yard again.
