  1. you could always throw them away and use a plastic dish brush instead.

    that's what it looks like?

  2. If soaking in bleach won't get the smell out, throw it out and buy antibacterial dish cloths at WalMart. Also try Shamwow cloths. (Google it).

  3. Wash in a very hot wash.  Dry outside in fresh air - sunshine helps.  When you are using them, rinse thoroughly after each use.  Use a fresh cloth every day.

Alternatively use the 'J' type of cloth and throw them away at the end of the day.

  4. I don't know how often you are washing them.  I change mine every day and put to dry and then put it in the next hot wash (with towels and drying cloths etc.)  Alternatively soak them at night in some weak bleach and water (sterilises the sink too) and rinse out in the morning.

  5. I have switched over to microfiber washcloths for that very reason. They have them in the automotive section of grocery stores,Walmart and even some dollar stores carry them.

  6. Try oxy clean. Although i know you have said you use bleach that usually works. Also the towels and stuff can be smelling because they are getting wet and staying wet. If they sit around wet they will smell so wash them as soon as possible. You can also add white vinegar to the wash.

  7. the dishcloths are not drying well, and are turning sour.  You probably have a lot of moisture in the air right now.  The only thing you can do is hang them outside if possible.  Washing isn't the problem, its the humidity
