  1. Tilex Mold and Mildew remover.

    Sold at Walgreens,Jewel Osco,Osco,Target,and Walmart.

  2. If you wanna go green use baking soda mixed with water, use a little brush That does not affect your health neither the environment

  3. mix some bleach and water in a bottle and spray the area, under no circumstance mix bleach and ammonia they will create a very toxic combination

  4. My guess is, since you asked this in the environmental section, you are looking for ways that do not involve harsh chemicals.

Proper airflow is mildew's number one enemy.  If your bathroom does not have a window, or fan that vents to the outside, consider putting a fan in your bathroom.  A box fan costs about $14 and will do a wonderful job.  Just turn the fan on low after you are done with your shower, and keep the shower door open, or the shower curtain pulled back.

Mildew is of course a mold.  Change the PH balance and mildew is very unhappy, and eventually dies.  Plain old white vinegar from the grocery store (less than $2 per gallon) can be used.  Vinegar is acidic.  Plain old white vinegar also kills 95% of germs.  Bleach kills 99%.  White vinegar is surprisingly effective.

You can also use baking soda, again extremely cheap.  Just add a bit of water, and make it into a thick paste, and scrub it onto the mildew.  Baking soda is a base, the opposite of vinegar's acid.  Mildew hates them both.  Baking soda can be scrubbed on as a paste, and left there.  Helps absorb any odors in the bathroom.  Just rinse off next time you shower.

Do not mix vinegar and baking soda together.  Just use one or the other.  Mix them together, and they kind of cancel each other out.  I usually clean with vinegar for a while, and switch to baking soda for a while.  Keeps the mildews on their toes, and none of them ever get established in my bathroom.

Don't forget though, proper airflow is actually your best friend against mildew.  Mildew hates fresh air, and drying out!

  5. use some bleach, ammonia

  6. I use steam then keep it away with vinegar. You can also use borax or oxygen bleach which is hydrogen peroxide and washing soda. Make sure the area stays ventilated to prevent moisture or humidity build up.

  7. Certainly use a proprietry mould remover but best of all have the window open when you have a shower of in a windowless shower room make sure that there is a working extractor fan. Then you shouldn't get mould or mildew at all.
