Even though acne is not caused by poor hygiene, it is important to use a wash cloth or another material that will help exfoliate. This is because excess skin cells can contribute to acne. 9. Go to a clinique conter!  They ask you quewstions about your skin and make a customized regimen.  I had really bad acne, proactiv didnt work for me (i used it for a year).  After using clinique 3 step and their spot treatment for a month, my skin was almost clear.  Now i get compliments all the time!  Another plus is that it lasts long, 6 months for me.  And it only costs about 60$, that 10$ a month. Cheaper than proactiv

  18. I heard that Neutrogena can always be trusted. However, it really depends on what skin type you have. You should go on makeupalley.com to look up what has worked for people with similar skin types such as yours. I heard that you have to be careful after using proactive. People that have been on that product and stopped for a while and tried to use it again found that it didn't work for them anymore.
