  1. You could try finding a sundress, they will have them all on sale now too. Then you could put a tank underneath, cuz I also have the same problem and you can never just wear a dress because the top part is always too small. Then just wear a warm cardigan over top. Something a little sophisticated. Then maybe just add a pretty brooch to it so it will give it a dress up feel.  You may also want to wear nylons under the dress.

If dresses are out of the question, then you could try some nice trousers, with a camisole and a suit jacket or a fancy cardigan sweater. You should be able to find stuff like this somewhere, maybe try looking in Sears, Macy's, Target or even Walmart. You never know what you will find.

  2. lots of shops that sell plus size clothing on here http://www.must-haves.co.uk/ Evans have some nice women's clothing.

  3. I'm a big fan of the little black dress with nice accessories.  It's basic.  It's slimming.  And they come in all sizes.  Don't go with the fluffy mother of the bride look.  Get your hair done and your makeup updated and go.

  4. No answer but pure advice, don't waer black - It's a wedding!

  5. I am about the same size and height.

You could get a dress with a smaller dressy sweater or a shaw. If you feel unsure you can always close it tighter or you know you have that coverage.

You could always get two pieces, like a dressy skirt and then a dressy top that fits right.  Look in your closet first to see what you have.

Just because it is winter or November doesn't mean you can't wear a dress and show some leg or a skirt.  Play it up and have fun at the wedding.
