  1. T-shirt and shorts, with slippers going every way except the temples and schools.

  2. Anything you want is okay.

Only when you go to a temple, shorts should not be worn, short-sleeved shirts are now acceptable because of the hot weather.

I wore a short-sleeved shirt, and had no problem entering the temple of the Emerald Bhudda.

  3. it's new age now..just keep clean and polite..you can wear tank top with bra..only in the temple wear something more polite like long pants and t-shirt would be ok...

On street you can wear short skirt short pants anything that not too thick for the heat will tiring you.

  4. yes, you can were mostly anything you like in Thailand. Take care to keep clean and polite. That's very important.

If you need to visit temple or govenment office, also better to cover up properly. You don't need to cover your entire body thought.

check out what you can do on daily basis at http://www.c-asiahotels.com it is always cheaper if you buy ticket online rather than walkin. Expect higher price if you walk in to tourist place and buy entry ticket.

  5. Shorts and T-shirt is okay for most places other than temples and public offices.  Choose simple wash and wear items that will be easy to wash or dry out quickly if you get caught in the rain.

A ball cap helps keep the sun off of your face, keeps the rain off your glasses and in case something is hanging low and you don't notice it - that item will hit the hat brim first and not poke your eye out.  Lots of low hangy-down stuff around street vendors and flea markets!   (Average Thai's are shorter than foreigners and they pass under lots of stuff that we smack into.)

    Good luck.

  6. whatever you want Only in temples are you advised to cover shoulders and wear longer clothing but around THailand not had a problem with Jeans and T Shirt

but always respect whatever country and people you visit anyway Thais are chilled out and relaxed about most things

    have a great time

  7. I wear normal short sleeved dress shirts. I find them cooler than T shirts. The space between the body and the shirt is bigger, and air flows more freely.

No matter what you wear (except a fridge), you'll perspire a lot anyway. The best advice is not to mind it. If you think all day "Boy, it's sure is hot here!", will that cool you down? No. So just ignore it, or try to. Walk as much as you can in the shade and drink a lot of water.
