  1. LOL.  I'm 19, and I still don't get paid BIG TIME...

I don't know...find out whatever it is Hannah Montana did that was so right? lol. (I wish I could be as rich as her!)

    Babysitting is a good one.

Or try getting a job.  Nursing Homes love to hire young people for the kitchen or other small things and everything because the elderly love seeing young people. (It's a nice job, it pays minimum wage, but it's nice none the less!)

  2. Babysit, dogwalk, car wash, mow lawn... print out flyers with your phone number at the bottom for people to tear off and put them up at local churches, corner stores, schools. Target any old people in your area, they often have cute doggies but are too old to walk them so they can pay you to do it, plus its great excersize for you!

  3. Really, the only thing you can legally do would be baby-sitting. You could also mow some yards or something like that. The pay isn't great but if you save it up, it adds up.

    Good luck! :)

  4. Well since you're 13 here's a list of jobs you can do legally for your age:

    babysitting

    dog-walking

    lawn mowing

helping the elderly people with their house cleaning work, & get paid by hour, like $8-10 an hour. For Each hour that you spend helping the elderly with their house cleaning.

    working at the library.

Starting your own small business, such as Mowing Lawn.

    Good Luck!

  5. Babysitting is great if you take a course on babysitting and also a first aid course, then you can justify charging $5 hour.

That adds up pretty fast, and it's fun too if you like kids. Gd lk

  6. do some chores, get your parents to give you an allowance,or set up a lemonade stand, but your not going to get paid big time.

  7. Ask your parents.

  8. haha, a 13 year old wanting to be paid "big time"?  That's cute and all, but come on.  13 year olds cannot be employed (child labor laws)  Try starting out with a 5 cent lemonade stand and go from there!

  9. babysitting, gardening, pet sitting..

  10. im 16 and getting paid big time is pretty d**n near impossible

  11. My friend discovered, while he was delivering packages to an airport, that there was a guy importing roses from Columbia. He became friends with the guy and struck a deal with him to buy roses cheap.

He then got an 800# and started shipping out roses a dozen at a time to people and charged less than any local florists, including postage.

He did this for awhile then sold his business for $3 million dollars.

He started the business when he was 19.

My point is, nobody is going to give you a job and pay you "big time". Those of you who work for other people, who won't take the risks involved to start your own businesses, will always be paid "small time."

Those of us who risk failing and work extra hours, and don't ask government to force anyone to pay us a minimum wage or provide us with health care or paid leaves are the ones living in those houses those who work for wages build.

You have a choice even at 13 to take charge of your life and seize the day or to sit back and gripe about how unfair life is...

  12. babysitting

    dog-walking

    lawn mowing

    chores

helping elderly people with house cleaning

    working at the library
