  1. spaghetti is very easy just bring some water to a boil and put in the noodles. wait to strain the noodles untill they are soft. heat up some sauce in the microwwave. Get a loaf of french bread and put butter and some garlic powder on, then bake it in the oven. Bake untill golden brown and crispy. Also have a fresh salad with carrots and cherry tomatoes. Set the table nicely and they should be very happy. Good Luck!

  2. boil noodles and put red sauce on them and make french bread

  3. My 13 yr old son always likes to make chicken tenders(Made in the oven) with mashed potatoes (store bought ready) and green beans. That's his dinner that he likes to make :) Good Luck!

  4. the spaghetti is a good idea.  u can elaborate on it by have a garden salad and a desert.  for desert u can make a mini sundae bar where everyones favorites r available.

  5. Spaghetti is very easy to make and some garlic bread.

  6. Cook boneless skinless chicken b*****s in a skillet with a little oil about 4 minutes per side on medium heat. Add one chopped onion, cook briefly and add 1 cup of chicken broth. Cook about 3 minutes then add one jar of spaghetti sauce. Turn heat to low, cover and let simmer until chicken is done, approximately 20 minutes. Meanwhile, cook some spaghetti following directions on the box. Drain the pasta and serve the chicken and sauce over the pasta.  Bagged salad and some Italian bread complete the meal.

Feeling more adventurous? Dip the chicken in beaten egg, roll in breadcrumbs & parmesan cheese before frying and then it's called Chicken Parmigiana.

Good luck! Remember, it's only food.

  7. Get a whole chicken (They come about 5 lbs now a days).  First heat oven to 375. Now put the chicken in the sink and remove plastic, take out the innards and throw away. Wash the chicken inside and out and dry with paper towels, inside and out.  Now put your chicken in a roasting pan or broiler bottom part.  Put a small whole onion (peeled), one carrot, one celery spring inside the cavity. You can just break the carrot/celery in half or pieces to make them fit. Pour a little olive oil or crisco into your hand and rub it all over the chicken like suntan lotion.  Season with garlic salt & pepper.  Now put in the oven for 2 1/2 hours, uncovered.  You can baste that along the way.

I know it is messy to handle a chicken, but if you gonna cook then you will be using lots of chickens in your life and this is as 'bout as easy as it gets for a wonderful surprise meal for your family.  It is so easy. You are just bathing the bird, seasoning it, and putting in the oven. It will come out elegant. I promise.

I would make chicken Rice-A-Roni & fz corn or green beans for your side dishes.  Bread & butter or bisquits/honey is good, too.

Good luck. That's a nice thing you are doing.

P.S.  When ya take that chicken out of the oven, throw away the onion, celery, carrot that is inside.  It was just for seasoning the meat with more flavor.  If you have a cat, they might like the carrot/celery...mine does.

  8. ..depends on your ingredients, honey! But my daughter loves to make fish pie or shepherds pie ( British dishes). Fish pie, you need mash potato with either peas or sweetcorn on bottom, FISH, usually flaked and already cooked, add cheese sauce, put all together in a casserole dish and put mashed potato on top. sprinkle with cheese and bake in oven for about 20 -25 mins until crispy on top. Same sort of thing for Shepherds pie except use mince and gravy, add a few carrots too! Or how about a stir-fry? Easy to make, lots of Veg chopped up, add either chicken or prawns or any meat really and a sauce, ie... sweet and sour, black bean (out of a can if prefered) and chuck it all in the Wok......

  9. hmmm if you have some chicken and cheese and garlic, you can slice the chicken breast in half not all the way and finley chop some garlic and get some cheese and stiff it all in there, dont forget to salt and pepper it, and put more cheese on top and bake it at 350 for about 10 mins itll stay moist, and you could make buttered toast or toast some bread and rub it with garlic and if you have any tomatoes and onion you can make brushetts(i cant spell it) and its lk an italian salsa just nicely chop everything and that can be lk the appetizer and you can make a quick salad for all of that =] have fun!

  10. Gourmet Chunky Spaghetti Sauce-

Brown the hamburger in deep pot. Drain fat.

Break apart some large green peppers, onions and mushrooms. Add to pot and start browning. Keep them big and chunky. YUM!

    Add 1/2 cup milk

One jar of Ragu or other sgetti sauce

    Basil -----> TONS OF IT!

    Sage

    Cilantro

    Garlic

Sausage of any type (persoanlly I recommend fresh kiebasa or sweet italian sausage). Slice them into 1/4" - 1/2" slices and dump in pot.

    2 teaspoons of vanilla

    1/2 cup sugar

Keep on low and let everything bleed together for about 30 mins.

Parm cheese (1/2 cup or so but not until almost ready to eat). Stir it in and dont let it melt on the bottom. Thats why you only add right before serving. Fresh or powdered Kraft - same effect.

Serve over your choice of pasta but I serve it with vermicelli at the restaurant.

    Enjoy!
