Well, my daughter broke her arm and has a cast up to her shoulder until mid August (yeah she did a good job!) What are some fun summer activies that she can do? She's pretty bummed because we had to cancel camp and softball and she see's her sister going off to the pool and waterpark. Any ideas on how I can make the most of her summer?

  1. arts and crafts

    start a scrap book maybe

    take her to a meusme

get her intrested in something that isnt physical

    like reading or making music

  2. why didn't they offer a waterproof cast? You could find a lake to go to where she can go in up to her thighs or so. Just wrap the arm in plastic wrap. My son broke his arm but it was during winter and he still took showers, we just wrapped it up and it was fine.

  3. I broke my arm when i was 7 and my 4 yr. old neice broke her arm last week (we both had/have a cast up to our shoulder.) Talking to freinds is the easiest thing. Then if it was the hand she wrote with she can learn to rite with the other hand i broke my collar bone 4 weeks ago and i broke my rite collar bone so i learned how to rite with my left (that was fun!) Then she can scrapbook and i took a lot of pictures with 1 hand (i used disposable camera since i casually dropped it occasionally Well i've always loved to read so i read alot. But just be creative. You could als o go alot of places

  4. have lots of people sign it and make big plans like an amusement park for when it comes off so she has something to look forward to

    picnics, mild hiking, movies, crafts

  5. Let her color, or you two can bake cookies.
