What can a collection agency do after a judgement was issued?

ok, i have a judgment against me for capital one credit card. A collection agency has the info and want money. What can they actually do to me if i dont pay it?

  1. if they have a judgement against you then they can, and will, garnish your wages and take the money that is owed to them.  they will also tack on legal fees and potentially collection fees (depending on the state you live).


  2. Garnish your wages, tax refunds, add a running tally of fees.

    Depending on the nature of the debt they can put a lien on your property (house/car). If they are still unable to collect from you then the court will order the sale of any assets you have to satisfy the debt such as TV, electronics, car, etc...

  3. They have already sent you to court, received a judgement and now they will notify your employer to withhold wages, or you bank and attach to your bank account until they are paid in full.
