What can a hamster eat besides hamster food? what do a hamster like to play with?

you should ask someone at petco or something, but i use to give my hamster lettuce and small carrots every now and then, they seemed to like it. As for play toys not really sure my hamster would run in those wheels a lot and through the empty paper towel rolls but idk what else...

it can eat pretty much any vegatable in your fridge, they realy like cabbage and lettuce and carrots, what you should give it to play with is a simple block of wood it can chew on:)

hamsters are interesting creatures, aren't they?i like their personality too.not too hardy to its owner.

remember that hamsters are omnivorous.they eat both vegtables and meat.i suggest these as hamsters love them: grains, seeds, vegetables, and insects, corn, oats, or wheat mixed with dry dog food.

they like to feed on the natural food that they are born to eat:grains.but of course,you may feed them insects from time to time to provide protein.

the key word to a healthy,happy hamster is "variety".they must have a variety of foods given to them as to avoid sickness and be healthy.

water must be changed daily.use a water bottle when it comes to giving water as this is best for the hamster.

hamsters like to play on hamster wheels.there are cages with built in playgound for the hamster but i suggest you don't buy those.they may harm the hamster.you may also give them some tissue rols to play with and some newspaper to chew.

that'll keep the hamster happy!

A hamster is a lot like a mouse or any other rodent they really like fresh fruits and veggies, also I had one that loved to eat cheese but not too much just one little corner of a piece for a sandwich. they like bread too, at least all of mine did.

They love to play with sticks, little balls , tubes (toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, and pvc pipes) little things that they can run on or around. I had one that really liked to pack around a tiny little teddy bear. I had one that was for a Barbie doll and he loved it.

They love to play with things that they can either run in around or they can pack around or chew on. Hope I helped
