The people and military of Georgia have supported the United States in the unpopular war in Iraq. Now they are being brutalized by Russia and George Bush has turned his back in their hour of need. How can I as an American citizen have any respect for my nation?

  1. Georgia always was a State Department puppet play.

The troops Georgia sent into Iraq they were offered missiles capable of attacking Russia, and possible NATO membership, in return.

They were also going to receive US ground forces to protect those missile bases.

If you really think you can help the people of Georgia by turning it into a military base you are nuts.

Until USA decided to start threatening Russian oil pipelines and install missile bases Russia would have been happy to ignore Georgia's corrupt little govt.

If you are expecting Russia to attack civilians in the area that is a wrong idea. Russia will treat the people of Georgia as gently as possible.

What they will get rid of are the American forces and a government that got in through rigged elections and maintained itself by violence against it own citizens.

If you think I am joking read up on Saakashvili.

  2. Well when I watched the Olympics i saw that Bush was mighty friendly with Putin so...thats obvious

and i dont think U.S. should get into other countries business! if U.S. didn't into others' business then they would be 2 times richer...people would have healthcare and students would get more funding...its not always about saving the whole world....no one can save it not even U.S.

  3. you have to know when to say when..

  4. Why should we? I've heard people say we shouldn't get into other countries' affairs. This counts.
