  1. IT HURTS.

  2. nah - it hurts a bit, and it feels quite cool to hear the sound!

    good luck!

  3. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tragus_pier...

  4. I had mine done today, I also was worried about the noise, but it wasnt half as bad as most people say. Then again I've had cartilage, my navel and now this pierced and I personally didn't have a problem with the piercing. The only dangers about it are it getting infected, my peircer stressed to me NOT TO TOUCH IT! A friend of mine had hers done and it got infected, all I have to say is ouch. But I definitely would get it. I mean you only live once =]

  5. from what i have heard if a tragus is pierced wrong it is capable of making you deaf.

but i'm not sure whether thats a rumor or what.

I've had mine for 4 years and i haven't had any problems with it whatsoever.

no, some people don't even hear the cartilage pop!

its not half as bad as you think also so don't be worried :)

just keep your piercing clean and baby it for the healing period and you wont have any problems!

  6. dont!!!

  7. I had my tragus pierced three days ago, and to be honest, it didn't hurt that much. They froze it first, that might be why. (Anyway, it varies from person to person.) I personally didn't hear the cartilage rip or anything at all, but that might of been because I was concentrating on the floor to distract me from the needle!

If you go ahead with getting the piercing done, then make sure you get it done by a proffessional piercer. Make sure you clean it twice a day with sea salt solution, and you won't be able to sleep on it for a few days, maybe a week. It gets infected quite easily so you REALLY have to make sure you take proper care of it. Don't twiddle it around in your fingers and if you really feel the need to touch it, make sure you wash your fingers first with antibacterial soap. It is difficult to clean the back of the piercing, so it would be advisable for somebody else to help you with it. Dried blood is normal for the first few days, after that there is a small chance that it might have a little crustyness, but thats normal. Just wipe it away with a cotton bud or something like it. It is roughly 6-8 weeks before you can change the piercing.

  8. i got my rook pierced and my friend got her tragus pierced, i'm horrible with pain and she's good with it. mine really hurt but i like it. cartilage does hurt more than a lobe or belly button and it takes a lot longer to heel. my friend likes hers she doesn't have a problem with it just try not to sleep on it because it really irritates the piercing. i hoped this helped. please try to answer my recent question. thanks
