What can be done about this LEGALLY?

In April, my friend Rylen turned against me because I disaproved of what she was going to do in the limo for prom that I would be riding in. Rylen and her friend bullied me so bad that I had to drop out of high school and now I attend GED classes and will have my GED soon. (I was a junior if that matters). The school tried talking to them and the other girl's (not Rylen's) parents but they all said it was no big deal. My parents even tried talking to the other girl's parents because at the time she was the ringleader.

Now being a few months later, this has still not ended. The other girl has let me be but Rylen keeps it going. The only time I have ever contacted her was right after I left school and she had still not deleted my pictures off her facebook and myspace. Then when I had a missed called on my cell phone from the number of the office where her mom works. There is no way someone from that small place randomly called me. I texted her and asked why she called me from her mom's work and still did not respond.

About 2 months ago, Rylen came into where I work (a grocery store) with this kid "Joe". They walked through the store and were laughing loudly trying to get me to notice them. They stood in my line for a minute then left.

Today they showed up again. They were laughing again the whole time. They walked up and down every aisle then stood in the produce section just staring at me while I was bagging for another cashier. They walked by the lane I was bagging for and ducked down and put their hoodies over their head. Then when they were done cashing out at the only other available register besides the one I was at, they came right behind where I was laughing and talked about me loudly. They were standing right by the lotto machines, the boy is old enough to buy the tickets but Rylen's only eighteen. When they were leaving they yelled BYE COURTNEY! and some other stuff I couldn't make out.

I was afraid to go to my car and leave work. Now I am afraid to go back to work tommorow. I am afraid she'll hurt me. I do not go to Rylen's work (a sports store) even when I don't see her car there just to make sure we don't run into each other.

I can't sleep tonight and I'm just a nervous wreck. Tommorow my parents are taking me to the police to see what we can do legally or if they will warn her to stay away.

What do you think I'll be able to do? Harassment charges? Order of Protection?

Her behavior is disgusting. You can get a restraining order--but that's about it.

Beyond that, I would suggest you get some psychological counsellings. If you allow yourself to be bullied to this extent, you need some help.

i would go for harassment and a restraining order.

she'll feel pretty stupid having that on her record.

I think going to the police station is a great idea. I feel bad you have to endure their taunting. Best of luck to you. You'll be in my prayers.

Everything the people above me said.  Plus talk to your supervisor at your work and have them barred from entering.

The police may laugh at you too, you have no cause to press harassment charges against anyone!  and you can't get a order for protection, as no one has harmed you, no one has threatened you, you needed to give more details,  what did  they want to do in the limo, & why did you FEEL You needed to quit school?   Your employer has to press charges & not have them allowed in the store,  but you have no reason to run to the police.....   as no one has threatened you, no one has harmed you,   people can laugh at you, it's not against the law.   I'm sorry you feel this way, but your reallly going to be EMBARASSED by going the cops & giving these very small lame reasons..... the Judge will throw out this too.  so don't even thru with this.   GOOD LUCK!
