What can be done to prevent hookworm infections in pets, breeding animals, and people?

I've been hearing a lot about hookworms in my area lately. How can I prevent my dogs and cats from becoming infected with them? Also, can reptiles get hookworms? What about birds?

  1. Go to the Vet and get the medicine just in case.

    If your dog is going to get it. he is going to get it.

    That is life.

    Put the medicine on or see if there is a shot like the flue shot.
