  1. You're serious?

1/ Sink the boat and let me know where so as at least I can enjoy it.

    or

    2/ Don't launch it.

You AREN'T going to stop that noise if the boat's moving or sitting at mooring in a little chop.

  2. Only sail in higher winds.  the wind noise will block it out.

  3. This is worth a try. We use to wax the bottoms of our race boats to increase the speed. It definitely worked and if you knew what to listen for it also changed the sound of the sponsons skimming the water. If it allows the water to pass at a smother and faster pace it could probably quieten the sound you are trying to eliminate.

  4. I don't understand the problem - is it disruptively noisy to listen to water moving against the hull?  To me, part of the attraction to quiet boating (aka: non motorized) like sailing and paddling, is specifically the sound of the water against the hull, the swirls of water that come off the blade of a paddle, the wind vibrating the battens in the sail... These are all very meditative sounds, and I can't imagine wanting them to stop.

As the previous answer says... not likely to happen unless you dry dock the boat.  ;)
