I need a change, a big one. I've worked as Pharmacy Technician for over a year in the US and have passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician which certifies me to work in any Pharmacy in America. For a visa to come to Great Britain I need to be certified BTEC, is there an equivalence exam or something I can take or are there classes required?

  1. I can't help with specifics, but as I am on the same quest - with a few differences - I am BTEC UK qualified and I am trying to find out if my diploma is valid in France - I used this site for a copy of my certificate and they seem to be quite helpful.

If I find out anymore during my search I will let you know. It may be worth contacting the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and asking them, they were friendly but unable to help with my query.

There is also a website specifically for techincians which may be useful too -

As a last option, consider a google search for job agencies that are specifically looking for techinicans, they may be able to find out for you.

    Good luck :)
