Question:

What can be used to touch up silicone surfaces?

I have a very expensive remote control and some of the black is peeling off on some of the buttons. Is there anything that can be used to relayer this surface so it is like new again? I've tried auto. touch-up paints and they look good at first but then they peel off after a couple of days. Paint, marker, ink, anything? Thanks.

  1. I'd try a Sharpie permanent marker.  Problem is, the ink does not seem to be truly black in some lights, but rather an intensely dark blue.  Can't hurt to try, though.
