What can black cats see with their mysterious green eyes?

do they have extra vision ?

can they see stuff we cant see, and if so what kind of stuff can they seee?

Cats eyes are specialized in detecting motion for catching fast moving prey like mice etc.

Their range of colour perception is thought to be less pronounced as ours. They have more rod cells than cone cells and specially adapted muscles of the iris which allows them to have a better range of vision at night.

They also have a tapetum (which we don't have) , which is at the back of the retina and enables light to be reflected around the inner eye and back to the retina and increases light to be detected by the photoreceptors.

The colour of the iris is not an indication of how cats can see.

All cats see the same. Whether cats can see extrasensory things, no one knows except them. And about black cats being bad luck or having special powers, I could as easily say that black dogs are bad luck. No one has proven black cats are bad luck so I can say the same about dogs :) I have a black kitten and she is a normal kitten.
