epilepsy maybe, if the cat has even one seizure  you need to see a vet because that is very dangerous for anyone and can cause damage. the vet may put the cat on meds

there are many things that can cause a cat to have seizures..they can have epilepsy..and diabetes both are things that can cause them..also as they age they tend to get some neurological issues...
