    I experienced this a great deal after head trauma, as my somatological awareness was severely altered. Talk to a doc if it's serious, otherwise I recommend getting a lot more exercise.

    Lack of exercise is my primary guess for your feeling of detachment from your body. You wouldn't feel that way if you were exercising to the point of exhaustion every day.

    Even if it's five minutes to exhaustion, that's all you need. Every day.  

  7. This is called disassociation, and it is usually caused by elevated levels of seratonin.  Seratonin is released when certain primitive parts of the brain are overstimulated, as in when you have a panic attack or experience a physical shock such as a broken bone.
