  1. Nothing. All the biblical evidence points the other way.

  2. Nothing based on evidence and reason at least.

  3. Biblically, there is nothing in scripture that would confirm that a "secret rapture" would take place before The Great Tribulation.  A lot of people would use 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 and say "See, here is the rapture!".  Yes, Christ will come get us, that is very clear in scripture but it will not be till after The Great Tribulation.  So that verse is actually speaking of The Second Coming of Christ...not a "secret" rapture.  It's gonna be a really tough time for everybody then and a lot of those who have faith in Christ are gonna be tested and martyred but we are saved from the second death and will live with Christ our God for ALL eternity.  Remember, "those who endure to the end shall be saved".  If that's not enough for somebody then Jesus isn't enough for them and they're most likely not saved to begin with so they probably don't care whether they're with Christ or not.  Here's a link that I hope will help you with this doctrinal issue and hopefully comfort you as well concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Your question sounds sincere...I hope that you continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus.  Let's get ready to meet the King of kings face to face people...may God's grace be with all His saints!

"So be truly glad.  There is a wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while.  These trials will show that your faith is genuine.  It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold-though your faith is far more precious than mere gold.  So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world." - 1 Peter 1:6-7 (NLT)

  4. The Bible doesn't speak a hint about the "rapture and tribulation" like the popular belief everyone holds dear. The Bible speaks of the "blessed hope of the Resurrection." There is no such "rapture" or "getting out before things get ugly." And there is no "tribulation" other than the tribulations that we've all been facing since Eve ate from the fruit.

  5. The rapture as you call it is in

1Th 4:17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

This takes place when Jesus returns, not before.

  6. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation,

which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

    Revelation 3:10
