Generally speaking, there are various types of pollution like air-pollution, water-p, sound-p, etc. Each of these can be controlled in two ways : a) by controlling the source of pollution and b) by rectifying the damage done. Again for each of these, various long-term and short-term measures can be taken.

Our aim should be to preserve the nature as much as possible and live as simply as possible.
