  1. That would be mom and dad's job.

  2. Not patronise them for a start.

Maybe tell them to use a condom and keep some self respect going would be a good idea.

Teens will have s*x irrespective (or in spite of) government drives.

  3. not much when parents approve and schools supply condoms to ten year olds.

  4. Why not start it with the story of Jesus Christ -The super star?

    Matt. can help out.

Luke and Mark can help with the laws as basic foundation.

    Leviticus 18 - 22

Classic english literatures on life with poems and poetry can help them too

Will help in knowing what true love is all about.

    Luke 9.25,55-56,60

    What do you think?

  5. You have to be kidding?!...you want to spend more money "educating" people about something that is constantly on TV, radio, the internet and taught in schools?  How about the government just shut up and mom and dad taking some responsibility in life for once.

  6. It's not just the government's job to educate teens about the dangers of s*x.  It's the parents' job, too.  Parents need to quit thinking their kids are precious little angels that don't need to know about s*x because education about s*x will make them promiscuous.  Teens are going to do it regardless of education.  Teens need the education to see the dangers.  They need to be hit with the harsh reality of STDs and teen pregnancy.  When s*x education is offered, let the children take the class. Parents need to wake up.

As for the government, with the s*x education, they need to quit sugar coating it and show the reality.  That means getting the graphic photos of untreated STDs from the CDC and show them.  Tell them about the cons of pregnancy.  Let them know the dangers.

And if all else fails, because there will be teens that will do it if they think birth control is all they need, teach the teens the differences in birth control.  Birth control is not the end-all-be-all to stop STDs.  Teens need to know most birth controls won't stop STDs.

  7. Why are you asking the government to do what the parents SHOULD DO?

Government has proven to be good at some things, such as disaster relief, and national security.

It should stay out of private lives.

Now, if parents don't want to do their jobs, they shouldn't be parents.

  8. Allow teachers to show the effects on the genitalia by showing pictures of what the diseases look like. Show documentaries from medical professionals on what is done about the diseases, and how the people suffer with it and die. The government should allow public schools to do this without fear of parents saying squat!!! They need to see what others their own age has been through for them to start to learn or even start to care. Group s*x is repeating itself again like it did in the 60's but, diseases are worse more now than ever.

  9. ha, government encouraged abstinence by issuing condoms and building child care facility wards on hich school compus's..

    .

    isn't that enough.

    .

todays teenagers are more avtive at age 14 and as young as 13... according to the surgeon general..

  10. I don't know how about encouraging parents to become more involved in their children's lives and START ACTING LIKE PARENTS AND NOT FRIENDS...since when is it the government's responsibility to raise our children?

  11. Teach more than abstinence only.

  12. Quit paying for unwed mother's babies!

  13. Nothing.  That's the parents' job.

  14. Let them volunteer in a daycare changing diapers for a month.
