Question:

What can grow in hot climate?

they are saying earth will be too hot and plants wont grow. I hard to believe that cause I've seen plants growing in eritrea (africa) and they made a canal for irrigation. is it more correct to say that SOME plants cant grow in hot weather? and what can grow in hot climate?

  1. yeah some plants can grow in hot climate... most plants aslong as they are taken care of


  2. in the middle of the Sahara desert?  not much.

    in the middle of the Amazon rain forest?  quite a bit.

    seems water is rather relevant.

    and the lack of water, due to changed weather patterns, caused by warming in the Indian Ocean, has caused 300,000 people to be killed in Darfur.

Yea it's tough to grow stuff in a hot climate.  This is why when plants are grown in Greenhouses and Hot Houses, they have to use massive amounts of air conditioning to keep the plants cold, as plants grow far better in cold weather than in a warm environment.  Nothing beats winter tomatoes for a great salad.
