  1. If you do not show up at the hearing, they will get a summary judgment meaning they will win.  If the collector is motivated enough, they can then go after a garnishment of your wages, lien on your property, etc.  It will not go away...

  2. They will win the case automatically.

  3. you'll go to prison for 10 years lol

  4. A default judgment will be passed against you and depending on your state law, your wages could be garnished and or liens could be placed against your home.

This information will be in the Public Records section of your credit report for at least the next 10 years.

  5. The bill collection agency who is suing you will win by default. They will get everything they asked for; interest, fees, attorney fees, etc. regardless if they are entitled to it or not.

They will get a judgment against you, They can use any means available to them to collect on the judgment (laws varies from state to state). They could garnish your wages, attach liens to your bank accounts, and/or any other assets that you may own. Judgments are valid for 10 to 20 years and renewable (depeding on your state laws).

Judgments are public information. Public information is reported to the credit bureaus. A judgment will stay on your credit report for 7 years.

If you are being sued by a junk debt buyer who bought your charged off credit card account, you should answer the summons. You could challenge the validity of their claim in court.

  6. If you do't show up the judge will automatically rule against you.

Then, the collector can ask for garnishment on your wages until the amount is paid plus court costs.

Your credit is screwed for a really long time.
