  1. Bacteria Grows in them...yuck

  2. The medical drs. I work for never say you can continuously wear contacts.  There is no contact lens that allows as much oxygen to the cornea as you get from not wearing them.

you could get corneal ulcers (they really HURT) you can also get neovascularization (blood vessels growing into the cornea) this could cause permanent loss of vision.  you are more prone to infection and allergies.

  3. Possible eye infection, but more likely eye irritation and redness, dryness and itchyness-- stop being so cheap and buy some new ones.  Your eyes are just too important to not take good care of!

  4. then you can get an eye infection. The contacts will probably be dirtier than ever (which isnt good for your eyes at all). They will also dry out. If you wear them when you sleep, they also dry.

Contacts cover the eye, so not much oxygen can get to it. eyes will get very irritated. and it may later cause retina/eye damage.

If you wear too much, since oxygen can get to the eye, glads may expand to get oxygen. Expand too much and.......you know what happens after that

to clean your eyes.....i think your best bet is visine.

  5. your eyes can get irritated due to the lack of oxygen in your eyes...or you could get an infection from the bacteria that can develop in them if you dont clean them well enogh (which most people dont)

  6. The contacts dry out while still on your eyes. Even after a day of wearing contacts, when you take them out they are already pretty dry. The dryness of the contacts will also begin to dry out your eyes causing redness, itchiness, and burning. Protein will also build up on the contacts. After a month, the contacts will become fuzzy and you won't be able to see out of them very well anyways. Contacts need to rehydrate and be cleaned, which is why they are put in contact solution; however, if this is not done they collect dirt and protein in your dried out eyes, and will most likely cause infection.

And to clean your eyes (while the contacts aren't in them I'm assuming), flush them with some water, and then drop a few drops of the solution you put your contacts in into your eyes. Close your eyes and when you open them the should be clean.

Also, to keep your contacts clean while you put them in (because for the longest time when i would put my contacts in they would burn at first) rub a bit of contact solution on your fingers before handling the contacts.

I hope this helps, good luck!

  7. your eyes would get really dry and sore

  8. Protein will build up on the contacts. Also, your eyes breathe too, so oxygen isn't getting to your eyes very well.

  9. It doesn't give you eyes enough oxygen when worn 24/7, especially at night when you are sleeping b/c your eye lids deprive your eyes of oxygen even more. This allows your contacts to stick to your eyes and you can end up tearing the covering of your eye. Also, your eyes are put through much stress b/c of the oxygen deprivation. This often results in blood vessel breaks. Eventually, your contacts get too dirty from not being removed and you get an infection, or you get an infection b/c your oxygen deprivation results in less tear production and allows more bacteria in the eye.
